The Chair of Information Security and Compliance is located at the University of Göttingen. The team conducts application-oriented research published in leading scientific outlets in the areas of secure and reliable information system design, network governance of platform ecosystems, and IT acceptance research. All staff have a technical background in information systems or computer science and have profound knowledge in systems design with certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP or ITIL.

The Chair of Information Management, led by Professor Dr. Lutz M. Kolbe, perceives information management and information technology as crucial for sustainable business success. In this pursuit, the chair cooperates with various business and research partners, most prominently in third-party funded research projects. The chair's current research topics focus on holistic perspectives on sustainable information management (IM). The chair's activities are structured among Mobility, Healthcare and Digital Transformation.

The Chair of Business Education is located at the University of Hohenheim. The team's research and teaching spans various vocational education and training topics and scientific insights are published in renowned international journals. A key focus lies on features of teaching professionalism and issues of competence modelling, measurement and promotion in both training and working settings, using heuristic models and quantitative and qualitative research methods.
